about

This is the result of my attempt to fulfil the item at the top of my bucket list – make a full length, solo album. It only took me about 12 years, and I’m rather pleased. However, I thought I would learn more through this process. I assumed that I would have figured out by now what my particular style of music is, or what the album was meant to mean, what the most effective way to make music was, or even how Windows Sound Preferences can be overcome.

I’m not sure what it is. It’s inspired by prog rock/metal, folk, jazz and rare breeds of electro all at the same time and yet not worthy of any such grand terms. I can live with that as it was made in a series of bedrooms whilst not employed in the music industry. It’s best described as confused amalgamations of my favourite musical ideas, played using real instruments where possible, with little to no regard for the listener.
